ADHD Support
Support for ADHD addresses both the practical and emotional aspects of living with ADHD. In addition to strengthening executive functioning skills such as planning, organization, prioritization, and follow-through, therapy focuses on building skills to manage intense emotions, frustration, and overwhelm. This work includes increasing awareness of attention patterns, stress, and motivation, while developing practical strategies that support daily functioning and emotional balance. Attention is also given to the impact of ADHD-related shame and self-criticism, helping clients develop a more compassionate and realistic understanding of themselves.
