EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a trauma-focused therapy that helps the brain heal from painful or overwhelming experiences. It’s also effective for anxiety, depression, grief, and other challenges rooted in the past.
EMDR is based on the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model, which recognizes that the brain naturally moves toward healing when experiences are fully processed.
When memories remain “stuck,” they continue to trigger emotional pain, self-doubt, and distress in the present.
By gently engaging both sides of the brain, EMDR helps release those stored memories so they lose their emotional intensity.
I use EMDR to guide clients in reprocessing these experiences while building calm, confidence, and self-compassion in the present.
As healing unfolds, you can begin to feel more grounded, balanced, and free to live with greater ease and self-trust.
